Our Story

ROLLS N BOWLS was born in June 2016, when a group of friends and I set out to build something genuinely unique in Timor-Leste. What began as a simple idea—to create a relaxed place to eat, drink coffee, and hang out—quickly grew into something much bigger. Drawing inspiration from local produce, familiar tastes, and global influences, we began experimenting with fusion twists on traditional dishes, crafting food that felt both comforting and exciting. We worked (and slurped) through so many iterations of soup before we felt proud to share our final results to the world

The first outlet in Colmera, Dili was a joy to bring to life and quickly became a favorite gathering spot. Encouraged by the response, ROLLS N BOWLS expanded to a second location at Timor Plaza, bringing its vibrant menu and welcoming atmosphere to an even wider audience. Today, our journey continues with the flagship venue in Comoro, Dili, designed as a full expression of the brand.

What started as a place to hang out evolved into a culture we fell in love with—built on great food, great coffee, and a growing team proud to serve a community that made it all possible.
